Building on a foundation of twenty plus years of managing unprecedented growth and success at event and DMC firms in New England, Lorraine Janusas founded Eventful Connections with the goal of offering clients a quality experience every step of the way. Using her proficiency to translate the big picture into a strategic step by step plan for achieving goals, Lorraine's logistical expertise and intense client focus result in controlled costs and exceptional events.
Personally involved in every project, Lorraine relishes the challenges and opportunities presented by her clients and each new program. Lorraine enjoys walks on the beach with Jim (her husband of over 25 years) and her miniature schnauzer Sir Knickers as well as time spent with family and friends, in addition to a passion for fashion, culinary adventures and travel.
Alexandra Kiefer, Event Stategist
With over 12 years of experience in the meeting and events industry, Alexandra Kiefer brings her exuberance and intellect to Eventful Connections. She has worked on all sides - both as a planner and a client at corporate and non-profit organizations including Colorado's largest childhood non-profit, the American Heart Association, and the Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau just to name a few. Alexandra possesses a keen understanding of what is required to plan and successfully execute all size and type of events from incentives to fundraisers to conventions!
Alexandra works tirelessly with each client to make sure that she understands all of their needs before carefully designing an event that will meet their every expectation. Her logistical savvy affords her the ability to juggle the many demands of an exceptional program.
Alexandra possesses a savoir faire borne out of her extensive travel (both domestic and international) and having lived abroad. An avid reader, she possesses a keen interest in global affairs, politics and finance. Her cosmopolitan style influences her fashion and creativity for planning events.
Jill Talladay, Sustainable Tourism Manager, M.A. Tourism Administration, Sustainable Destination Management
Jill's knowledge of the travel and tourism industry runs deep, having spent twenty five years in sales and marketing with numerous hotels including Marriott Corporation as well as with the travel trade press with Group Tour Magazine and the Spirit of Massachusetts Guidebook.
In recent years as an advisor on the promotion of special travel and tourism projects and community relations development, Jill has helped organizations like the Yarmouth Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Cares with a variety of events including establishing community partnerships, raising funds for grants and scholarships and generating consumer awareness.
Jill's knowledge and fervent commitment to sustainable and responsible tourism practices help to guide clients to meet their CSR goals.
Passionate about giving back, Jill is a committed volunteer and has served on numerous boards including as president for Cape Cod Hospitality Marketing Association and as founder and president of Single Volunteers of Cape Cod.
